If there is one U.S. city that has something for everyone, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, it’s definitely Las Vegas, Nevada. They say it’s the city that never sleeps, and once you realize just how many things there are to do, it’s easy to see why.
The obvious thing to do in Vegas is gambling. That’s great and all, but there is a lot more to experience in this one-of-a-kind city in the desert, and some of these experiences aren’t found anywhere else.
The Neon Museum
While in Vegas, you can’t miss seeing the Neon Museum, where you can take a guided tour and see all the retired marquees from the days of old, vintage Vegas that now only exists in photos. There’s also now a permanent art installation by artist Craig Winslow called “Brilliant!” that uses projected augmented reality technology to bring these old neon signs back to life.
Rave at the Electric Daisy Carnival
If you’re craving a wild party, the Electric Daisy Carnival is a crazy 3-day, dusk-til-dawn affair, with nonstop DJs on several stages. There are over 140,000 attendees each night. If you don’t feel like leaving, you can even camp here in luxury pods or air-conditioned tents.
The Food Options Are Limitless
There’s also more food than you’ll know what to do with in this city, from upscale dining to pizza joints. Did you know that Vegas has its own Chinatown, full of culture and delicious cuisine? Consider a tour of all the celebrity chef-owned restaurants, because just about every single one of them has a spot in Vegas. You can even go to Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars!
See a Dazzling Show
You’ll be hard-pressed to find another city that has such grand, extravagant shows to blow you away. Big entertainment superstars have residencies here, there are magic shows and comedy shows to see, plus the ever-amazing Cirque du Soleil will wow you, too.
If you were going to plan a vacation in Las Vegas, which one of these attractions would you be most excited about?
